Growing Up
Dear friends and occasional readers of LeVasiz.blogspot.com,
its been practically a soundless year for us this year 2008 and sad to say, it sounds as if it'll stay that way for some time.. no, we're not going on a 'hiatus', neither are we getting high at you, we've just sorta went our separate ways at the moment.
Hold your horses, before you jump to the conclusion that we've "broken up" i'd like to highlight a few things to prove that this year, just like any other year before this, is still the same.
1. Shahrul
shahrul's job was to make people happy by providing us with the nicest cakes you could ever find. they came in many shapes and sizes, black (chocolate) was always the favorite. every morning, his factory produces sniff worthy smells of fresh cake.
now of course, he's still in the cake producing business, (i'm sure band manager nigel is too) albeit now he's working in Jusco taman university's bakery. in malay i think, that's what you call 'bagaimana acuan, begitulah rupa cakenya"
Sultan Ismail International Airport in all its splendour
he especially njoys shooting them blondie's about the fact that they prefer Salvatore Ferragamo and Gianluca Vialli and Rafaelo Nadalo to ADIDAS and Levi's. How Bimbo can they get!
point no 2 proven. Leroy still is fashion dumb.
Leroy then=Leroy now.
3. Marvin the Wences Jilimin
marvin always lived up to his motto "pro utilitate hormonum" which nearly means 'service for mankind'. he stood by this motto where ever he went, kicking balls, 360-ing, playing badminton, you name it. where ever he went, he was serving. (though in badminton, services are alternated among each player if points are won)
even now, marvin is still living up to his motto, albeit for a slightly more local cause, 'Pro utilitate Negara" which very much means National Service.
even there, he's still kicking balls, (s.s. for your information, Marvin wakil-ed his camp in the Kejohanan Futsal antara Kem-Kem and did well) doing 360 minutes of community service and much much more!
for every action, there is an equal an opposite reaction. Marvin, watch out for Seng next. you might be the next one getting served.
point 3 proven. Marvin the man then=Marvin the even manlier man now
4. Joel
oh the ever charming and skilled drummer of our band. always the man of the feminine fans, always the drummer with the solid sticks and the graceful fingers to help guide the sticks to the rhythm. always cheery, always happy, always enjoying life to the fullest.
now, let's just say he's found he's home away from home. Hot Chicks abound, succulent, tasty, tan looking, all the ingredients for a happy life at his doorstep. he's saying "I'm lovin' it" everyday with the wonderful atmosphere down there in singapore. i wonder if i'm getting this right, Joel if you see me online, do correct me. Joel's now studying in sir Knight Francis' College in singapore. in short, KFC.
-i wonder if they do drive through's in your school. i'd like to have an Extra Hot Drumstick, and you gotta make sure its finger licking good.-
oh lookie. sir Knight Francis' College's chicks look so yummie
(for those with beautiful eyes, don't roll them. my mummy says they'll lose their sparkle if you do. see what happened to the rolling stones!)
finally.
5. Thomas
Thomas loved to do one thing. in fact i've got confidence in him that he'll successfully get to do it for the rest of his life. Well you see, Thomas had a knack for Flying even in his secondary school days. He'd fly mornings, afternoons, sometimes even evenings.
woke up late? no problem. FLY!
don't like the long bus ride to school? no problem FLY!
don't feel good? FLY
Thomas recoined the famous AirAsia phrase into a more pessimistic one, "Now ANYTHING can fly!"
that was then.
Now, Thomas is actually persuing his lifelong favourite thing to do. Recently, he joined the JB flying club in hopes of being a professional Flyer.
yes yes, all that flying really helped him and i wish him all the best.
can't really make out what thomas is saying but i'm guessing its "how come my laser eyes don't work?!"
Point 5, Proven.
Thomas the School Flying boy then=Thomas the flying school boy now
in Conclusion, its very sad that we haven't had the time to get together for a bit.
Maybe its just , Growing Up.
Each of us have our own roads to take in our lives, but nevertheless, all roads lead to Joel's House.
It's Belibis, go anywhere in Perling and you'll pass it.
Doesn't Perling Rock?
whoops, this isn't joel's house.. i just wanted to show off joel's pink sticks. imagine how they'll taste. SAWEEET.
more songs coming soon.
signing out- Numbered Point No. 2
