Im'agine

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

..................................................................................

Well those were words from one of the greatest song writersof all time I should say. He was dreamer but he was not the only one. He was part of the renaissance movement that started a whole new revolution of activist , fast thinking people(unlike vinesh who's obviously as slag as none of us could be) and highly intellectual people who'd focused on the brighter side on future and arts. Actually , he was more of a peace person and one of the greatest humanitarian of our lifetime.

So,who wrote this ??

Leonardo Da Vinci? Michaelangelo ? Rafphael ? Petrach Machiavelli ?

Well, the answer is bloody 'none of them above' damnit. If you fig-ging still don't know who it is, then, you must have live your life under a coconut shell.

Enough of the gibberish stuff above. let's go straight to the point .

today's entry has a relation to the word 'imagine'. Let's begin. If imagining a world without heaven is easy to do , then you're about to anticipate bigger , harder things to imagine. This time it's worst . Not even the most sinful, atrocious acts could outdo the following acts you're about to know.

Let's all have a look at FOA ......

Now , let's look at the setlist this year. Dances, solo acts, sketches, comedies and ...........

NO BANDS!!!!!

Gauze....

Imagine FOA without bands...........

I wonder if you can ?

So, now you know. At this point, we're inches away from pressing the red 'emergency' button.
A lot of changes will be brought up to this year's FOA but ....Look, there's never been a Festival Of Arts without the battle of the bands being the headline of the show. Maybe, there'll be now if everything goes nothing according to plan......And that's why we need to work something out together , seperti pepatah melayu,' bagai aur dengan tebing' to salvage what's left of FOA's soul. Don't let it slide away....

Well, according to scientific terms, the hypothesis is and has always been No rock bands , No FOA and no FOA if there's no bands. Besides the hypothesis given, we could also relate to our linear graphs and conclude that, the number of bands is directly proportional to the number of people coming for FOA. So if our x-value is 0 , then our y-value should also be zero. Get It!

Even LeVasiz themselves held such memmorable days doing perfomances during FOA . Heck. Even in their first ever FOA battle-of-the bands , out of the other 11 bands , Le vasiz had manage to achieve a respectable 3rd placing , loosing only to 2 other bands who were 2 to 3 years more senior than them.

And that's why we need to pull all our strings out and try to get more bands into the event. Don't care if they sound like your pet-frog singing, but as long as they sing in engrish. Bollocks, strikethrough that line cause I want quality bands that are immense with high potential energy.

So, come 4th of August , let's hope they'll be bands for you and me to lay our eyes and ears upon. *crosses fingers.

By the way, I think the LDDS should come up with their own 'awareness ribbon'......to save FOA

Forget red for AIDS or the pink ribbon for Breast cancer, here's the all-new BLACK RIBBON for FOA...

See. Even our own smiley doesn't look to happy!...boo-hoo

Happy Belated B'day to band manager / Ldds president...
